Description:

FITLAB Fitness Club is currently seeking a motivated Member Services Associate. As a Member Services Associate, you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality customer service to all members and guests through professional greetings, account maintenance, and extensive knowledge of FITLAB’s products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and service members in a friendly and professional manner
  • Attentively and promptly respond to member needs
  • Admit members and appropriately respond to alerts on their account
  • Answer phones in a professional manner
  • Maintain an orderly lobby area

Qualifications

  • Minimum of six months customer service experience
  • Minimum of six months reception experience preferred
  • Reliable, professional, computer literate, energetic, friendly with an interest in health, fitness, and/or sports

PERSONAL TRAINING DIRECTOR

Description:

We’re looking for a passionate Personal Training Director (PTD) who wants to work for the innovative industry leader and be part of a team that is focused on making a real difference in people’s lives. The PTD is responsible for contributing to the overall production and financial success of the PT department.

FITLAB’s PTD will assist in cultivating and leading a positive, team-centered work environment that delivers on company goals. You will be a team player, have a “Whatever It Takes attitude”, provide a good representation of FITLAB at all times, will be enthusiastic, willing to learn new things, be reliable and willing to go above and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for achieving or exceeding monthly revenue and session goals
  • Attend and participate in PT Department, All Club, and One-on-One meetings
  • Responsible for training, managing, and developing a high-quality team of personal trainers in a way that enables them to reach their full potential
  • Responsible for creating communication mechanisms for staff that enables two-way dialogue and provides them with timely and accurate information pertaining to company and club goals, programs, promotions, and policies
  • Assist in managing an efficient fitness department whereby day-to-day operations run smoothly, company-wide policies are followed consistently, and problems are resolved in an effective and timely manner
  • Manage the new member integration program ensuring that complimentary introductory fitness sessions are provided in a timely manner

Qualifications

  • Sales experience required
  • Proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness or professional settings
  • Proven ability to drive revenue
  • Enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Proven ability to drive revenue
  • Hire, direct and train staff as well as excellent time management and follow-up skills 
  • Financial management experience 
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR

The Membership Director ( MD) is responsible for achieving or exceeding individual sales goals, renewals and ancillary service goals by pre-planning the month with strategic outreach, in-club lead generation and securing member referrals. Under the management of a General Manager and the support of a Regional Manager, the Membership Director must display, have knowledge of and participate in all the club’s services, programs, and products. The MD must keep current in knowledge of key competitors, current promotions and fitness trends . Above all, the MD must have the ability to build rapport and lasting relationships with prospective and current members in order to build a strong referral base and retain members. Responsibilities

  • Greet and service members and their children in a friendly and professional manner
  • Attentively and promptly respond to kids needs
  • Maintain an orderly the daycare
  • Provide a safe and comfortable environment for all children 
  • Ensure an interactive environment between all children 

Qualifications

  • Must possess proven experience in working with children of multiple age ranges in a group setting
  • CPR certification or a willingness to obtain a CPR certification within 60 days of employment.
  • A warm and patient demeanor along with excellent communication and multi-tasking skills are essential 
  • Reliable, professional, energetic, and friendly
