Fitlab Fitness Clubs Are New Hampshire’s Most Inspiring Gyms, With More Space, More Classes and More World-class Trainers and Instructors Than Any Other Health Club in the State
Went here about 4 days a week when I lived within walking distance (2-5 years ago). All-in-all, it is a good standard gym. Good amount of equipment, unless you go during peak evening hours. The couple of classes I've participated in, I've been impressed with. Never had qualms with the other people in the gym (patron or employee).
The only items I've had problems with were in regards to amenities and payment. When I originally signed up, I was never informed that my contracted didn't include the racquet ball court, so I had to pay $5 per usage of it. The sauna is fairly weak and will randomly just stop working. The shower stalls are somewhat cramped (I'd hate to think what it would be like to use as a larger fellow). When I went to pay for a renewal in person, the employee processing my order appeared to be computer-challenged and kept getting my credit card rejected. But... these are all extras and oddities that I'm complaining about. They take care of the core parts of the gym.
Fit Lab Hudson is a great gym, there is plenty of equipment to do all my work out, the equipment is in great condition and the gym is super clean! The staff are always out on the floor cleaning, and super friendly. I have been going to this gym for several years, and would not consider any other as they have the best price per month, and great service. I would highly recommend this gym and give it a strong 5 stars!
Fine until I tried to cancel my membership and personal training. Very unprofessional process. Called the institution and kindly asked to speak to someone regarding cancellations, was given an email address and still charged for sessions I didn't use. Called again later, was told they'd call me back and never did. It's been a very frustrating process.
Will never be stepping foot back into this place or any other FitLab. Don't EVER sign anything there. There’s fine print about cancellations that are ridiculous. Go somewhere else!
I would just like to give feedback regarding the cancellation policy for this gym. As a former member I found it quite simple to cancel. I called the gym, spoke to a manager, he gave me a reference number with an email address. I emailed with my reference number stating that I would like to cancel and within 24 hours I had received an email back saying my membership was cancelled. As long as you cancel within the guidelines of your contract there should not be an issue. People need to read before they sign! I am actually thinking about joining again as I have recently started working in the area and it has become more convenient.
As far as the gym itself, I would have to say it was a great atmosphere, clean and good space. Gotta stop giving this place such a bad rap!
Signed up for this gym about a month ago and I really enjoy it. Has all the things you need for a great work out and doesn't smell awful like other gyms. Can definitely get a little busy which I don't love but I just follow the off peak guidelines on google and it has never been a problem.
I have seen complaints on here about gym equipment always being broken and can say that is just not true. Yes, there have been times when I have come to Fitlab and one or two of the treadmills are out of order. However, I come every day and these repairs have always been done by the next day. You can't hold a grudge against a gym that actually maintains their equipment.
All in all, one of the best fitness clubs I've been to. Oh and also, the staff are awesome. Super friendly at all times, even when it's 6am! Keep it up.
Very convenient located gym. It's clean and equipment is newish and works well. The staff is nice and helpful enough. Peak hours the gym is pretty packed and it's hard to workout but other times it's great. The parking lot sucks and they clearly don't have enough parking.
Very disappointed. Went in to discuss how much a membership would cost as there are many options and I chose to check you first.....instantly felt like I was buying a car. Scrap paper with secret membership prices (only special to me....right). Asked if I could think about it but was told I had to commit now to get those “special” prices. If I walked out the door the prices would go up. Best part is I was told he was being “nice”. You don’t know me, my reason for being there, or my bank account. All I needed was a day or maybe even an hour to figure out if I wanted to pay monthly or yearly. I was going to sign up but acting like you are doing me a favor by scribbling on pieces of papers and cornering me doesn’t work, kindness does. FitLab...Do better.
