We are committed to providing you with the information and resources you need to put your health first and we are excited to share with you the new safety measures we’ve implemented in all of our clubs. We’ve always been dedicated to the cleanliness of our facilities and the health and safety of our community. Now we’re taking it to an even higher level.
A Comprehensive Approach
We continue to follow stringent sanitation protocols for proper disinfection, operation and maintenance, as well as adding additional procedures to achieve a new level of cleanliness.
Continuous scheduled disinfection of high-touch surfaces throughout the club
We’ve increased cleaning and sanitizing before, during and after hours.Team members receive ongoing training on cleaning protocols and are provided with disinfecting kits
Easy, readily available equipment disinfectant spray. We have TRIPLED the amount of sanitizing stations per club
Hand-sanitizing stations are conveniently located throughout the club
- NEW sanitizing/disinfecting solutions – DS-1 and SK-2 dispensers have been installed in all facilities. SK-2 and DS-1 disinfectants/sanitizers meet and exceed the EPA’s criteria for use against SARS-CoV-2, which is the cause of COVID-19. These 1-step disinfectants defend against a broad spectrum of bacteria, is virucidal, and inhibits the growth of mold and mildew and their smells. You’ll see numerous spray stations in each club. We encourage wiping down every piece of equipment before and after use but these sprays can also be used as a “spray and walk away” solution.
- NEW EPA Approved Heavy Duty Washroom Cleaner/Degreaser which is also EPA approved for the use against SARS CoV-2.
- Social distancing protocols of at least 6 feet which is enforced by an added “floor” employee.
- Cardio machines have been spread out to ensure distancing of at least 6 feet.
Keeping each other safe
We’ve put a lot of changes in place—with details beyond what you see here. The way our new safety process will be most effective is if we all make sure to do our part in it. Please make sure to practice social distancing when in close, shared spaces like locker rooms and bathrooms. If you have a cough, fever, or symptoms of COVID-19, please do not come to the gym until you’re symptom-free. If you feel unwell or have any concerns about coming in to gym, please stay home and stay safe. We’re encouraging members and staff to limit person-to-person contact, including hugs & high fives.
The safety of our members and team members is what’s most important. FITLAB has always been dedicated to delivering a healthy way of life to our communities. Each of us will play an important role in making your club a safe experience for us all.
See you soon!
